Mr. Jaqe Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 To quote a famous lady from a famous serie: "O...my...GOD!" *drool* It's so awsome! How fast is it? How fast from 0-100? oooooH! it's so FINE!! I just wanna take it and hug it! Quote
agep Posted March 10, 2005 Author Posted March 10, 2005 Thanks The interior is not yet finished but ill try to make a render of it. But first; here is a messy image of the parts Quote
agep Posted March 10, 2005 Author Posted March 10, 2005 How fast is it? How fast from 0-100? Top speed 240 mph 0-60 mph 3.2 sec 0-100 mph 6.3 sec Capacity 6064 c.c. Power 627 hp Quote
starwarsguy Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Good idea putting up the parts. It should be helpful to new users who want to know how to go about making a car, or maybe just someone who never found out. By the way, great work so far! Quote
lazz Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 That car came out absolutely gorgeous. Great job! Incredibly accurate as well. Plus, the McLaren F1 is a really really cool car. That and the Koenigsegg CCR. Fastest street legal cars in the world I think. Anyways, You modeled that car perfectly, Stunning work! -Robert Lazzarini Quote
cfree68f Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Very very cool. When you Render it.. Try using a wide angle camera, like 22 mm or something.. That tends to give it a more dynamic sleek look sometimes. Perspective is your friend. Great job man. C Quote
agep Posted March 11, 2005 Author Posted March 11, 2005 Thanks for the comments. I appreciate them very much When you Render it.. Try using a wide angle camera, like 22 mm or something.. That tends to give it a more dynamic sleek look sometimes. Perspective is your friend. Its probably a stupid question, but is that the 'focal length'? And if so should I just set it to 22? Quote
nixie Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 I think what colin means is focal length yes, set it to 22 to get a sleeker elongated look to your model, similar to images in car magazines etc. Give us a traditional render too; it'd make a good poster! You could get good photo-realism with a smooth but detailed mesh like that, very impressive! Regards - Nixie Quote
agep Posted March 11, 2005 Author Posted March 11, 2005 Thanks. I still have a list of things to do on the car yet, like details on the interior, few things on the body, and a massive job on materials and decals and so on.... Quote
agep Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 I have done a test on the interior, and I must admit that materials are not my best skill... anyway, here it is: Quote
Mr. Jaqe Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 oooooOOOOOoooooo!! I have done a test on the interior, and I must admit that materials are not my best skill... anyway, here it is: bah... if you look at your modeling skill, your material skill isn't any bad at all. Quote
pixelmech Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Looking good - I have the same problem with materials, hey we all gotta start somewhere! Quote
agep Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 Thanks for the replies. Hopefully it will look better when I put it all together... hopefully Here is a shaded wireframe render of the interior: Quote
