Newbert_Zero Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 no matter what i do i can not find out how to get the grooming toolbar to show up. Quote
Scottj3d Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 It looks like you have found it but I don't see a model in your PWS to apply it to. I think if you open a model and are in modelling mode the grooming thingy will show up once you apply the emitter to the model. Quote
Newbert_Zero Posted February 17, 2005 Author Posted February 17, 2005 nope its still not working Quote
Bruce Del Porte Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 The hair material has to be applied to a model or a group in a model and the hair button turned on. If you see hair on the model the the grooming button should light up and you will see splines among the hairs. Quote
higginsdj Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 You'll only see the CPs and use the grooming tools when you switch from Model Model mode to grooming mode in the model window. Cheers Quote
Vash Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 If grooming mode isn't there, there are only two things you can do: A) You can go into Tools>Customize>Mode and look for some lines with red dots icon (grooming mode) or You upgrade your version. If neither of these works your in BIIG trouble. Quote
J L Johnson Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 I hope newbert doesn't mind if I re-ask the question ---- is there a good tutorial out there on styling Hash hair? I'm just getting the most recent version and I'd like to take full advantage of the hair material. Quote
Paul Forwood Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 is there a good tutorial out there on styling Hash hair? Have you downloaded the 'RandyHair.mov' file from the TechTalk forum? It's a big Quicktime movie, (almost 200Mb), in which Randy Croucher shows off many of the new hair features, including grooming tools. Well worth the download time! Quote
dimos Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 Where or how do I find the RandyHair.mov quicktime? Is there a link or something? I am interested but confused on where to go. Dimos Quote
Pengy Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 check under the latest info section Dimos. Quote
