  1. SO COOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! awesome look to that last post with the pic. That is very professional looking. And the animation is sweet!!!!!!!
  2. Oh! Thats such a cool character! looks like he would be fun to animate. I like how he isn't uniformed, like his pant legs are different lengths, and his collar of the shirt is off to one side. says alot about what kind of character he is going to be. Great Job!!! can't wait to see more.
  3. A little bit late in replying to your animation, but i just wanted to say: AWESOME! really good character animation, love the squash and stretch of the character and the was he moves.
  4. That is a very unique style you have! I LIKE it! I really like the painted back grounds, it's a cool fusion. Can't wait to see more.
  5. wow! this is some really cool stuff. i like the style! one question though: how did you get the blend of orange and yellow to be so smooth?
  6. I believe this is how you do it....... open the model file that is saved in the library. click on the model name in the project workspace. go to the properties and somewhere under the properties there is a way to load an image to be the thumbnail pic. hope this helps. (i would be more specific but i don't have A:M open at the moment.) ohh!..... then save the model and it should update it.
  7. that is really cool. i'm amazed. (i just have a question for everyone...I have this same problem when i use glow: see in his picture... the eyes are glowing and it is actually glowing on the topside of the hat. i have experianced the same thing when i use glow, and i just wondered why the light/glow emits through objects/patches. i was wondering if there is a way to stop it from doing that.) Cool character!
  8. Cool! i love the colors. you have a very unique style and i really like it.
  9. WOW that is absolutely amazing.
  10. How do you go about making it so a model i have has a picture to go with it? Thanks!
  11. Sorry... accidently posted this twice. Admin can DELETE this post. Sorry
  12. Thanks guys for the help with the knight! ...And the time
  13. That is awesome!!! Great work Bill
  14. David: what i am doing is just draging the knight into the choreography window from the libraries.
  15. yeah... i have been having problems with the knight as well. Like when you put the can-can action onto him, his knees will bend wierd ways. so i pretty much have the same questions that ringert has.
  16. thanks for the suggestions! i will get busy on trying to fix the hand. I'll try copy and pasting the cp's onto a new model. thanks ken. (i was working on it in 11.1 too, and it still did that, i just started working on it in 12) Thanks for the reference photo Dan. much appreciated guys! (now to get working )
  17. Well i havn't my computer on for probally 18 hour periods. (plenty of time to let it rest) and the past few days, i have noticed the gridlines are taking over the giant. lol. i guess it's not that big of a deal, but i was just wondering "why?" Thanks!
  18. really small update..... fixed the positioning of the thumb. [attachmentid=12860] (PS: i just got the new version of A:M .... ) Edit: Anyone know why the grid lines are showing on top of the model. It is only on the front view that it is doing this. [attachmentid=12861]
  19. Congratulations Dhar!!!!!!
  20. That night flight clip is awesome! one suggestion though: This depends on what type of music you have with that clip.....if it is more flowy type music, the camera shot should be more smooth/ without those breaks. But if the music is a little bit more choppy, i think the camera shot you have is perfect. i guess it depends on what type of music you use. (hope that made sense) Good work! its cool to see your progress.
  21. Thanks wiliiam for the help! I was thinking that exact same thing too....it will be easy to fix. Thanks again!
  22. Thanks Ken!!! yeah, i started researching the iron giant, and i found out a few things -------> i have been doing the hands way wrong. -------> the eyes as you said are glowing. -------> then i found out how the feet go. so far.... i fixed his hands to actually be correct. [attachmentid=12832] Ken: yeah i still am going to fix the un-even-ness of the chest part, as well as smooth out some other rough areas. (and also the cylinder on the wrist part is a little big, so i will have to fix that)
  23. That is just AWESOME!!!! i really love your work. it's really well put together. Good job!
  24. Hey guys.....update i feel like i have been working on the hands for a long time.... Dhar: i tried what you were saying, just to put the thumb on the inside, but then it looked really funny, so i kind of did what you suggested but just angled it different. Thanks for your input/help! Well... i still am not be done with the hands, so tell me what you think. [attachmentid=12822] (does any one else see the wierd shadow that the left hand is casting, could be just the angle) (ohhh!!! i still have to do the wrists by the way.)
  25. Dhar, i think your on to something I'll try that. Thanks
