1.
It's really coming along. I think the stomach muscles look more like ribs to me. I think they need to be shortened to look more "square" instead of "rectangular". It's looking really good other wise.
Yeah I wasn't really satisfied with the stomach muscles either. I think you're right they need to be shortened.
2. Here is the next iteration of this guy. I added muscle detail in some areas and continued tweaking. He still isn't completely finished of course but how do you guys like it so far?
3.
Are you going to be adding a sky dome? What resolution did you render this in. And how long did it take to render with the volumetrics? I haven't used volumetrics since v8.5 Jeff B.
This was done in v8.5 and took about 5 minutes but I don't have the fastest machine in th world either. I don't know If I will have a sky dome or not. I haven't decided yet. I Rendered it as a 1024/768 image which I believe I resized before uploading. I also used 200% oversampling.
4. It still needs work on the lighting I think but the general idea is there now. Wastland2 - The Morning.
5.
cool scene, I like the tree good modeling on it...... But the stretching on the terrian really takes away from the scene... Also tweak the sky a bit it's very overpowering... I agree I also like to keep my scenes simple; complicated stuff I stay away from..... I look forward to some updates....
Stretching? Actually it wasn't stretched at all. It was supposed to be a wind-worn sandstone look. Although like I said texturing wasn't my strong point.
6. Thanks for the positive feedback. It makes a guy feel good. I would be happy to get some wireframes of the wings and face for you. Ill put em up as soon as I get back home where I can get em.
7. This was a landscape I did while working on a modeling method for tree's I was rather proud of the lighting as things like lighting and texturing aren't my strong points. The tree modelling method was from a tutorial. Unfotunately I can't remember the name of the person who wrote it. I would appreciate any feedback you have. I know the image isn't really complicated or anything I tend to very simple scenes in my work. But I thought the ambience in this one was perfect for what I was going for.
8. Hi everyone. I'm a user of A:M since version 8.5 Used to be on the mailing list but got off a long time ago. Just thought I'd get back into the community here and show off my current work in Progress. The Model is of a Klyros a Race from the Open Source MMORPG Planeshift. I plan to animate him eventually so tell me what you think of him :D
