  1. Thanks I'll try that. I've got myself a problem. I tried putting porcelain material on the face and all the 5 point patches look awful. Are my settings wrong? Edit: A lot of other things look bad too.
  2. The colors were put in so I could see the image better. The textures are very temporary
  3. Just checking if anybody speaks some yiddish. I've worked on this model for about 4 hours (ok, probably closer to 6) and the outcome is only fairly pathetic.
  4. For your jaw drop animation I would suggest that the head jerk backwards makes the mouth come back up. Other than that it looks great. Gaty seems like the greatest character for a childrens book.
  5. I think I know why, one of Angelfire's rules is you can't put an image or anything up just for storage, so re-upload it put it on your website and give us the website link. I've gotten away w/ doing it in the past but it looks like someone reported you. Edit: You may also have pornography on your site, just from looking at the status bar it said something like "sexual-overtones" in the url.
  6. He looks great. My one comment is that his head seems slightly small compared to his body.
  7. step 1 in Zack domination of the world complete! next, the government... Nice job!
  8. To be just as ambiguous: That's a beautiful model, I hope you had fun with her. I must say I enjoyed looking at her in those nude pictures you posted. enough of that.. but anyways great job, although her bangs are a bit flat and don't go far enough across her face.
  9. Love those new expressions the face untextured looks almost... shocking, next to those bright blue eyes. I love it. I suggest when you texture it you allow his face color to be muted (kinda like the pictures) that would be awesome.
  10. His eyes don't look crossed. Sad, yes, but crossed, I dont think so.
  11. I tried your suggestion and ended up screwing up my model. I went back and just applied zettle to the lines, as you can see it didn't do much...
  12. For one thing you may want to use the scale tool and make the base bigger on the Z axis. IT reminds me of the JBL Creature Speakers. http://www.jblcreature.com/ Now that would be something fun to model!
  13. I wasn't sure if it was just my model, there is a distinct line where it gets darker. ("Zacks Unite" Heh heh)
  14. It's a real cool mix between organic and mechanical. nice.
  15. and the wireframe: ok.. I'll stop now.
  16. Here's my question. I've been modeling a quick-n-dirty cartoon character, of which I am still working on the head. I've learned from experience and tried to make the character with absolutely no creases. So far I think I've acheived my goal. The problem is that the head seems to change color in the back (due to shadows). If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this please tell me.
  17. If you've got V. 11 I highly suggest you try the built in hair materials. YOu can now "groom" your character. It's great.
  18. Send me a nickel! Put him in the coreography window in wireframe mode. then press the print screen button. Go into photoshop and ctrl-v it. Haha if I had a nickel everytime I've.....

zpider, I was referring to his pads, the talking device, and eyepiece. Maybe they are modeled. They look like decals in these renders.
  20. Out of curiosity- Who is 'we'?
  21. Have you changed anything since then? It looks the same. I'm looking forward to a body.
