  3. Just as an FYI, I didn't have an issue with my nVidia GTX 970 after the Windows 10 anniversary update.

  6. I have an nVidia gtx 970 and Windows 10 using A:M 18.0p. My only options fir real time driver are OpenGL and OpenGL3. Is that right or is there a driver for nVidia? Thanks, Tyson

  11. Please note that Chrome, Safari and Mozilla will be dropping support for Flash. I noticed that a lot of the videos are in Flash. I am not sure much can be done about it unless there is something out there that can convert them from flv to mp4
  12. Hey Rodney I am back!!! Just purchased the subscription and am ready to start playing around. I'm not much of an artist but I would like to make some stills for various projects. I used My original A:M version was 2005 or 2006 I believe. I still have the CDs but it's for Mac PPC so can't run them. Plus I discarded the manuals which had the serial numbers in it. I am using Windows 64-bit now as it works, the Mac version doesn't like my on-chip GPU. a little about me I am a programmer in C#.Net/Java I socially ballroom dance I am learning to play the piano take care, Tyson
  13. It it were me I would use XML or JSON to store the data but that might be to wordy for A:M so maybe some sort of struct which would be raw and hard to read but normal folk. Would also ise in-app memory. OS clipboard is probably too small. My $0.02 Tyson
  14. Jason I am a web developer and Web Admin, be sure to keep your upload files on a separate volume from the OS system files. And depending on how it all works putting them of the file-ssytem should not break uploads in your DB if it is coded to look in both places. I have a database at work that has 20GB and it works fine, of course it is using MS SQL Server. Tyson

  20. Hello All, It's been awhile since I used A:M. I wanted to try it out again so I signed up for the trail. I got my license file and instaledl A:M 18.0p. When I launch it I get an error about not being able to load the graphics assistance driver. Then I get a screen that says it couldn't load it. It then takes me to the options page where the Real-Time driver drop down is empty. By the way, what is difference between SSE4 and regular AM? I am using Mac OS X 10.11.5 (El Capitan) with 8G of RAM with a 2.3ghz i7 Any ideas? thanks, Tyson
  21. Hello All, I am sorry is this was covered in another post, I just couldn't find it if there is one. I am going through David Rogers book A:M a Complete Guide. So far it's going well but I run into an issue and can't quite figure it out. I have attached a capture of the model that I am working on. This is a tutorial from the book. basicailly it's two cylinders one was lathed around the Y axes. The other needs to be lathed around the x axes. It's an exercise on changing the pivot point. I an unable to get it to pivot around the x axes. I have toyed with the properties in rotate mode but not sure which things to change. I'm sure it's something quite easy and probably starring me right in the face. Also are there tutorials on this subject? thanks a bunch, Tyson
