  1. Can you post the tga file you used for the tree? Thanks, d
  2. Paul, Can you post the tga file for the model? It looks great. I've tried a few other trees and they take forever to render. Thanks in advance for your help and your work. d
  3. I guess I never thought of that. If a system crashes, you can start up right where you left off, or even re-render a specific frame. I don't think I ever had that happen (knock on wood). d
  4. Speaking of sounds..... When do you guys (and ladies) put sound in your vids? If you add them in AM you can't use a render farm (as far as I know) which means you need to render all on one machine (groan). I've been adding them after, when I import all the frames into my editor and rendering the file from there. d
  5. Head modeler..... Does that mean he models heads or heads up modeling Kind of like a head painter....... Ah English what a language.
  6. Rock on dude. I find mechanical objects to be easier to model than creatures. I've done a few vehicles. If you find some good images, you can do a LOT with the decals that can make up for modeling limitations, might be a good first try. You can even get away with with a fairly limited model. Keep us up to date with your progress.
  7. Colaboration is very tough, even with people you know well. Everyone has OTHER things to do. Ultimately I think you'll find, the only one who won't let you down is you. David
  8. Rodney, Thanks for the kind words. I've been hesitant to post a link to my site because you guys are so far above my abilities. David
  9. Here's a link to some of the work I've been doing. Its primarily all industrial applications. http://www.dustinproductions.com/robotics_2.htm I've converted them to flash to keep the file sizes down. David
  10. Ken, He/it looks like he's walking in mud, you know, his feet have extra weight on them, but due to his strength it's still easy. It would be cool to see him splocking along in some marsh, or some good old Georgia clay. Oooooo he'd make a great football player. Great work!!!! David
