  1. Rob, It's completely consistent and cookies are on. I don't need cookies to remember a password. Every time my password is rejected and I have to recover my password to login. Very strange. I've been into AE too much and need to get back to A:M. I'll have a look at your tutorials Rob. Cheers, Rusty Edit: I completely ditched the post ideas and started over.
  2. I don't visit here much as it's so hard to log in. No matter what I try I always have to go through the recover password. Anyway, I love a:m and use it often. My last post was pretty sorry so here's the prototype looking a little better. I'm thinking of redoing and recoloring the rocket exhaust and loosing the rings. Rusty Edit: Rendering this to a mov file clocked in at 670 Mb. After uploading it to YouTube and downloading the mp4 file it was at 8mb! I cannot duplicate YouTube's compression in mp4 no matter what I try (I'm no expert lol). TSS300.mp4
  3. I got what the tut offered and adjusted it a bit. You see it in the first scene of the attached prototype (which is nothing to write home about yet ;-( ). Test for SS ad.mp4
  4. Hi! Thanks john! What I was looking for is more like this. I tried this in AE but it doesn't look that good. Still working on it. Happy New Year Rusty
  5. Thanks Robcat! I'll have to play around with it. Rusty
  6. Hi! I know or think it’s possible to do a particle rocket flame in AM. Are there any tutorials or guides you can point me to? Thanks! Rusty
  7. I thought I answered this post long ago. My desktop is out and I guess my Yoga 9000 isn't quite up to the task. I've since updated the drivers and will dl this project and try again. Thanks for the help! Rusty
  8. Hi everyone! Does anyone know why I'm getting distortion when I render? jug.avi jug.prj
  9. I didn't get an activation code. Edit: Nevermind. I found it. r
  10. Hi, I hate to post this but emails to support@hash.com are getting kicked back as undeliverable. On Apr 8th I purchased a year’s subscription but don’t know how to activate it. My copy of A:M has now expired. What can I do? Rusty rusty@sd.znet.com
  11. Thanks!!!!
  12. Hi! Been enjoying playing with A:M again. However, ran into a stupid problem. I’m in the chor and I want to create a path to animate an object along and I can’t find the path tool!!?? I can picture the tool icon in my head…I’m I thinking of another program??!! Am I nuts? Confused, Rusty
  13. Rob your the best!!! I'll check these out. Rusty An ad for my scifi books I made in AM. ExplorerTwoAd.mp4
  14. Hi Rob! Yeah, I remember the plugin from long ago it was pretty cool. I'm sure I have it on my desktop but the disk went out. Probably wouldn't work anymore. Rig the legs? Yes and I don't remember how!! I've decided just to pose the beast not animate it.I need to grab the end of the bone chain and move the entire bone chain from there. Kinematic something??? Rusty
  15. Hi, I need to animate long tentacles waving like an Octopus under water. There use to be a plug-in to assist with this. Anyone remember what it was and if it’s still available? Thanks, Rusty
