  1. Wow,Rodney, your post really made my day.

Its the greatest christmaspresent of all.

I am going to print it out for my reference.

You don' t mean, that you really clicked through all that pages, do you?

And Please feel free to post any example here, if you think that's apropriate.

Hopefully one day, if it possibly generates some interest finally, it will be translated into English as well.

The hard "readability" of the words still is the greatest shortcoming of my script, I believe, since when

I started doing it, it was just meant for myself as a workingbase.

    Have nice and relaxing christmasdays

    :) Jost

  2. The sad thing about this is, that because of censorship and siccors in the head a genius like Miyazaki would never have been possible in the USA.

All the interesting and fresh stuff comes from outside the Hollywood industry like Persepolis and Waltz with Bashir.

I wonder how that really great TV series from HBO like Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Six Feet Under have been possible...

  3. Me too... guess there are quite a few of us sitting in the same boat , if not the majority.

    Only very few come through.

Have you considered publishing your excisting work for free at places like deviantart?

    Happy birthday anyway!

  4. Interesting.. Which Wacom pen do you use, the standard or the feel and with microsft keyboard?

I must say the new surface pro 2 looks pretty intriguing as a wacom mobile replacement for illustration work.

    Seems selling starts just today.

  5. How time is running....almost 10 years passed by since.....

As Martin states: His name stands on the company and he was responsible.

He surely made many mistakes as well, amongst them were his intransperency.

Many very talented people simply lost their trust and so they left.

The fact that the promise of the one man, one movie philosophy never could be realised with A:M by one artist up to now was another part.

Nevertheless aside from these much too high expectations A:M is still a very powerfull

tool thats great fun to use.

Its a pity, that some greater visions for its future seem to be lacking at the moment.

Edit:As for visions, i know, its probably not really possible right now, but as some one stated on another forum. An app like what zbrush is for sculptmodeling would do the same just for animation is missing.

Alembic could transfer these hash animations into the other apps maybe.

Kind of competitor for mixamo or motionbuilder....

  6. I have vlc also, but its no solution.

I just want to click on the video and see it , not dabbling around, download something, searching a player, not practicable.

Seems to me the formatsupport of html5 box is good enough.

If not suited here for this forum, i recommend it for ones propriate websites.

Then really every potential client will be able to watch your content.

  7. As for the videoplayability......

(It should be a nogo, that I canot watch the Videos on this Forum on my i-pad!!!)

    ...I found a great new tool a html5 videoplayer:

    http://html5box.com/

Ist free and under GNU Licence and really, really easy to implement on your Websites.

I just installed it and you can watch it in Action on my Website.

    No more compatibilityproblems!

    Fantastic

  8. Hi Sebastion,

Great style you have achieved again!

  9. I don.t know.

Maybe its worth some more trying.

My son plays "Clash of clans" on the i-pad and many times, if he gets stuck, he ask me to buy some jewls for him.

And I go : well o.k. If it doesnt cost that much, here you go.

From that expierience: make your clips of wobbling dead about 3 minutes long and available for free with cliffhangers and just charge evry third episode or so with a very small amount lets say 1.99 € and see what happens.

Maybe have a look at Vimeo at other peoples offers and if and how they work.

You still are quite a pioneer on this terrain.

    Good luck!

  10. Lets face it.

None of these conections will ever be established since Am is and will stay

a niche product and these efforts will never be worthwhile.

No use to stick the head in the sand .

Am is still great as it is but users tend to set too much high hope in it.

Just keep it as it is and be realistic.
