  1. Easiest way is with a cookie cut stamp. This would be a decal that has an alpha channel (black portions on the alpha become transparent).
  2. Hehehe, looks great! Maybe you should make a boxing ring wwf ring and have him duke it out with Lush Rimbaugh
  3. I had voted before when it was first posted because it is Funny. Most likely it does look at ip's
  4. Looks really good. I made this sheet up (original is in quark with auto page numbering). It might help when doing complex scenes. I was doing quick still renders then placing the images in the document. If I get some time I'll make a ms word version storyboardHD.pdf
  5. I voted a bunch but think it only counts 1, the view counter didn't change. I do think that My vote is worth more than others, hope they feel the same
  6. Looks really good, you may want to flatten the nose up near the eyes to create a brow. I love the features. Great work.
  7. I would use the quickmask in photoshop, then use a semi soft brush to make the selection and save it to an alpha. Quickmask mode is at the bottom of the toolbar. Make sure your foreground and background colors are 0,0,0 and 255, 255, 255 (pure black and pure white). You can toggle between them with the x key and this will add or subtract your selection. Paintshop Pro and Gimp have some nice masking tools that use edge detection but in this case where the fence is so blurry your probably better off doing it by hand.
  8. heres some bitmaps you can use for textures. name the faces you want to apply them on then you can simply drag the image on it and set the repeat count
  9. Thanks, I tossed in the bones and weighted them so it seems pretty smooth, I posted the final files in the Contributors Cue. Thanks!
  10. Might use the tsm2 and rig this, what do ya think? I'll post the final in the contribs corner when done
  11. I have the same problem with the rim light that is in the default chor where shadows are on but don't render. Image looks great! Try adding other colors to the nebula?
  12. Actually you need to frame the windows correctly the studs are doubled and the walls should have double studs at the ends. Here is a really handy link: http://www.basiccarpentrytechniques.com/
  13. His shed is constructed of splines and patches, far superior to those cheap old 2x4's you find in Home Depot,
  14. Impressive! Guess they can't eat apples through chicken wire anymore
  15. Looks pretty good, the top 2x4's should sit on top of the studs though. You going to render it on a rotoscope of your yard where its going?
  16. I believe manifold volumes use intersecting surfaces to create a shape within as if the surfaces were the outsides of a surface. So if there are double surfaces in the same space it would make sense to me why the error.
  17. Looks really good, how do they know it's a she?
  18. The best way is the tutorials found here http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12894 I believe the basic functionality of AM is unchanged.
  19. Sometimes it can get goofy. What I do is select all then control click one of the cp edges that are parallel to the x axis and avoid selecting any cp's that are on the extremes.
