  1. No i have not, where would i find it?
  2. Ello I have recently taken it upon myself to get back into the animation business and so once again i am in need of help. having taken a 6 month hiatus from AM i find that my skills with sprites have essentially fallen apart. what I'm trying to do should be simple but it causing me no end in trouble. I'm trying to create for lack of a better word Elemental spheres. as an example an ice sphere would look frozen with frost clouds drifting of it and snow particles forming around it , while a fire sphere would be, well on fire. I know there are tutorials to help do this but i for what ever reason cant quite find them any help you could provide would be appreciated
  3. Ok heres my problem , I'm trying to create a ship design for the EVE ship design contest. on of the requirements is that the model is all white with black lines, I have finished my models set the surface to white and the lines to black , but no matter what settings I try it always shades parts of the model with Grey. I tryed using the wireframe mode but that just causes AM to crash. Any suggestions or help ?
  4. Hello I'm currently getting back into AM and as such have a fresh install. I have found however that should I have a cylinder and i shift to shaded view , its all blocky and chunky , and there used to be a way to make it smoother, however going through my option menu nothing springs out , I am currently using version 15.0i
  5. OK Heres the deal , i have a top down view of a building and i have a little ball thats going to move through it , i need a line to follow it in a way similar to how a line follows a pencil sort of like is created at the center of the ball but does not move on its own accord, was wondering if any one had any ideas that could make this work ?
  6. OK so taking a break from my work i have tryed to create a new tracked vehicle for my own amusement , i have been able to create a good frame but when trying to create a track i fall short "see picture" i cant seam to find a way to get the end to be a smooth round. any one know of a good way to get the smooth round side that i need?
  7. Ok hopefulyl simple , I belive there is a way to make is so that if you render an object with no set back ground that that area will become clear in the picture i know it has probley been posted how to do this before but i cant remeber what its called and all my serches come up with ways to make glass effects.
  8. thats pretty darn close to what im looking for, where exactly is that "smoked glass" mat located. i have the WEB version of AM so there might be a good chance i dont have it
  9. Ok hopefully simple i have a small modle im trying ro render and it has 2 materials attached to it , one is a mud like texture, the other is a green thing i just made up. however due to some factor it takes like 15 minutes to render this small thing. is there any way to reduce the complexity of a material or could i have a setting turned up to high
  10. as of now they dont need to be animated its just for a still picutre hopefully this will help explain what im asking
  11. ok maybe this might help with this , any one know how to get this sort of crystal effect
  12. ok if you look at the merged picture you can see that in the yelow zones you can still see the parts of one zone in another theses a good example allmost smack in the middle . i more or less want any color of the same type to appear as one "block" not 3 blocks stuck together
  13. ok in essence i will have 4 seperate heat maps , i need a way to merge them to show the full coverage area, sort of a full heat map for that floor. what im wanting is a way to make all "yellow" areas merge with out showing other yellows in them
  14. heres is what im working on , im doing a project that involves heat mapping , or testing wireless signal strenght for networks here are 3 heat maps created as basic shapes , i need to create a full maps by merging the 4 ( 3 currently ) but the second image shows the problem
  15. This is more of a has any one done anything like this , just for fun i am trying to recreate aspects from games that i play and found my C&C stuff , for those that have played you probly remeber this making the crystals structure is mor or less fine as its just a hexigon stretched out its more the coloring im looking for , i have been playing around with materials but have yet to get anthing that has that look
  16. Ok hopefully pretty simple i have farious block type shapes that are all 50% transperant in a project im working on , is there a way i can have to objects that are say yellow move to the same space but have both the parts that are touching and the parts that are not remain the same 50% transperancy. more or less a block moves through another block of the same type and i dont want you to be able to tell that theres one inside the other
  17. Ok second post for the day im wondering it theres a easy way to have fonts follow along a line , or do you have to move every thing manualy ?
  18. are you refering to the pannel in tools -> options -> rendering ? if so that pannel only shows be the default how i will render the scean when i click the render to file option
  19. hello all long time no see i just got a fresh new code for Am and have started drawing again but it seams that with the new version of am a few of my setting are missng/undone. there used to be a way to set the amount of "panels" to render when using shaded view. currently when i set a circle to shaded view it renders as a poly gone of sorts so its dificult to add to it.
  20. could be you just wnet to full shaded mode, the 7-0 keys on my comp switch between modes
  21. OK hopefully simple. I'm using the extended grid turb material to try and make a grid over the surfaces I'm working with . only problem is that the lines are warping and i don't know why , in the material demo its nice and straight but when rendered comes out like this
  22. Ok should be simple im drawing a top down view of a building and using a grid. only problem is that the lines seam to hid behid the grid so in the tod down view you only see parts of the cps and no lines what so ever , is there any way to set the grid to be behind the lines?
  23. no not turning it off. im using the grid to form walls , my problem is that any part of the grid thats in front of the rotoscope lines get thicker which is really anoying and makes it harder to draw
  24. hopefully simple question , i import a roto scope into AM but for some reason it makes the line that are in front of the image t-4 times thicker . is there any way to turn this off?
