  3. Thanks you both! Very mysterious. If I add a second of silence to the end of "Happy New Year.wav" it will show but only as a flatline (but still be heard) If i convert it to convert to stereo i do get a visible waveform. Import this wav and see if it is visible Happy New Year11_OrigToStereo.zip Do you mean both wavs are not visible? "slurp2.wav" doesn't show after being imported?
  4. Hey Rob The "Happy New Year" is heard but not seen in my timeline. However Slurp is both heard and seen. I'm using 19.5E
  5. It shows in version 18, but not 19.5. I can still hear it in 19.5 though.
  6. Please load the PRJ and tell me if "Happy New Year.wav" show its waveform in the Chor. Can you hear it if you scrub the chor timeline? Then import "slurp2.wav" and drag it into the Chor. Does it show? What version of A:M are you on, including the version letter? SoundTest001.zip
  7. Just found another AM Model pencilguy.avi mp4 version: pencilguy.mp4 PRJ: pencilly.prj

  9. My Live Answer Time thread has the link in the first post. There is also a link to that thread in my signature at the bottom of all my posts (like this one). The instructions on how to use the link are in that first post.

  12. Sorry forgot how to get on LAT. I to to clubs/live answer time and it takes me to google meeting page but it only shows how to start a meeting.
  13. Get a line on some answers to your A:M questions at Live Answer Time at Noon CDT, Saturday Jun 21, 2025 Famed caricaturist to the stars, Al Hirschfeld was born on this day in 1903 Walt Disney: Jack Lemmon: Leonard Bernstein: 18 Of Al Hirschfeld’s Greatest Drawings
  14. It was interesting to see the complex facial rig they had for their demo model. I'm sure you could do something similar in AM, but it looked a bit daunting.
  15. I'll look for the replay. that's a subject I've been wishing they'd do!
  16. Sorry for the late notice but there is a webinar that Animation Mentor is running today at 2pm ET on rigging: Animation Webinar Sign Up | Animation Mentor FREE!! You just need to register.

  18. Yes thanks David I have gimp!!!
  19. I use Krita....wraparound mode under "view" is helpful for that. GIMP can also do that using Filters/Map/Tile Seamless. Hope that helps.
  20. Anyone know of an app that can make images tileable for decaling/texture mapping? Would really be handy.
  21. Outstanding job. If you ever decide to do a pay-per download of this model, let me know!
  22. Here's the stats for viewers of the website! It's likely a map of A:M users that have seen this Topic and visited the site. I think I have things the way I like on the website. It just needs a lot more animation! http://flownuts.com
  23. I think it looks good enough to demonstrate my "balloon pump" for air pressure driven Hypercarts. When multiple pumps are placed in a long distance tube system, it will show the track weaving through topography, up hills, etc. Is there a large "land area" model available to utilize? Here's how the other Tube Track animation came out... I should say "so far". I tried changing Index of Refraction, but it looked like it pointed out flaws in my modeling. It had a nice shiny look though, I hope to use that setting for other things, maybe buildings. I added another pump to better see the idea. One should be able to picture the airflow...
  24. I think we're waiting for David to use it in his animation first.
  25. wow amazing work truly amazing stuff you got there! Do you think I could borrow this scene for an animation, if possible, I will definitely credit you.
  26. The CS50 download code for "Filter" uses a library for "getopt()" which seems to exist in their linux environment but not in windows. At first blush, this windows replacement seems to work. https://github.com/kubo/ya_getopt
  27. If you want the thickness of the tube wall to be meaningful, give it some refraction setting greater than 1.0
  28. Yes, I had Ambiance on the carts. I made some modifications and I think this looks good enough for now. Replicating a vinyl transparent tube like at the hardware store may take a lot more time. Note: The double wall doesn't really do anything except to see it at the front end there. TransparentTubes-Rev1.prj
  29. the carts look like they have Ambiance Intensity set to some non-zero level, or they are set to "Flat Shaded", or they are set to Toon render.
