steve392 Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 I need to expand it some but not sure where to go next ,any ideas Quote
hypnomike Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Hey Steve. Your castle looks surreal, nice work. If you were to continue with the design I'd see a few similar to what you've done scattered round the mountain and joined by stairs/walkways. Good luck and keep posting your progress. Quote
lazz Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 I definately like it! It looks great! But what to do next huh? Hmm... (thinking )...(two hours later)... A-Hah! How about putting an exterior wall around what you've got? And make it almost as if it were built out of the mountain itself? That might give it the look your going for. Hope that helps! Quote
steve392 Posted November 11, 2004 Author Posted November 11, 2004 Thank's for your thoughts ,good ideas ,I will play with them cheers Quote
John Bigboote Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Great start! Get out the encyclopedia or google for 'parts of a castle' and do the rest! The barbicon, the moat and drawbridge, the bailey, the inner and outer curtains, the keep, the chapel, the parapet walks... Take a look at a Disney movie at the castle in their signature. Very simple, vericle...cool! Quote
modernhorse Posted November 11, 2004 Posted November 11, 2004 Great start ! I really like this. Keep going. Doug Quote
