detbear Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Did Anzovin ever complete their setup machine 3. Not long ago they had a kickstarter for it. Imagine if the face machine would have been ported to A:M. That would've been cool. I don't think Anzovin has been near as successful after they stopped developing their tools for Animation Master. *A:M User* Roger Posted April 9, 2016 *A:M User* Posted April 9, 2016 I didn't even know they were developing a 3rd Setup Machine. I purchased TSM2, It's not the creating the skeleton that I find tedious it is the installing/point-weighting part. I think I was expecting TSM2 to be more like the Mixamo tool, but perhaps that was an unrealistic expectation to have. Ideally I'd like to automate as much of the rigging process as possible, but still have the option to tweak things by hand if needed. From what I understand the reason the quit developing the AM version was it wasn't profitable? Quote

John Bigboote Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Those were the DAYS! I saw Raf Anzovin and his father Steve speak at Siggraph about this time... at the Hash booth if I recall. They were the 'big fish in the little pond' with A:M and maya makes you a 'small fish/big pond'... It was really-really-realllly nice of Raf to donate his Setup Machine free to the A:M community after his father's passing. Quote
