*A:M User* Roger Posted April 11, 2013 *A:M User* Share Posted April 11, 2013 Something tells me you would have serious health problems if you did this: http://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-living/teen...-165713286.html I believe I would die of hypertension if I tried eating that much Ramen. How would that cause a problem? I think the spice does something to irritate my lips and they don't feel right when i try to play.
largento
It does say in the story that they believe she is malnourished and has the health of an 80 year-old. :-) I've never understood picky eaters. I love variety in the foods I eat that are killing me.
Admin Rodney Posted April 12, 2013 Admin Share Posted April 12, 2013 If you were eating real (that is to say fresh) ramen in Japan you might be doing much better with all the fresh vegetables etc. The processed stuff can't be nearly as good for you. It's hard for me to eat that stuff these days. I really do miss Japanese (restaurant) ramen. It's not just ramen... it's a meal. My favorite ramen is not as good for you primarily because of the meat but I can taste it just thinking about it. Sigh. (now I'm hungry) Added: You won't save a lot of money eating at ramen restaurants in Japan. Which I assume is why a lot of Americans might eat ramen. $10 a bowl is probably the average price although they do have the cheap stuff at $5 as well as well as more expensive varieties. From the article: Georgi Readman, 18, of the Isle of Wight, U.K., refuses to eat fruit and vegetables Well...geez. That's not really ramen if it doesn't have vegetables. That's just disguised plain-jane spaghetti.
