Darkwing Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I was kind of hoping that AM's reflections would go further. This is with reflectivity at 100%, distance of 60000cm and a step of 10. Quote

Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 29, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted September 29, 2011 Is there an upper limit to reflection bounces? Quote
Zaryin Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I forgot what it's called, but would upping the reflection levels in the render settings do anything? Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 29, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted September 29, 2011 I guess 10 is the limit. Quote

Yeah, 10 is unfortunately the limit. I intend to play around with adding stuff to make the illusion smoother, but it would be nice if the reflections could go deeper. mirror.prj Quote
Darkwing Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 Added some scenery, makes the illusion a bit more seamless. I think next, I'm going to put a crack in the mirror, that should cause a jarring sort of effect. Quote
John Bigboote Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Maybe you should not enter a value at all into the reflection falloff. Quote
Darkwing Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 This is with reflectivity only set to 100%, everything else is at Not Set and under Render>Reflections, the step is set to 10. Here's an illusion for an illusion. Set the translucency to 50% Quote
