John Bigboote Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Your tests are always so short... I'd like to see the flowers resolve themselves! Very cool animation! Quote
johnl3d Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Most of my tests are done late after work (current shift is 11:30 to 8:00 plus 1/2 drive time + ot if I get stuck...tech support does not have normal hours ) and so do not have time for longer tests. Lot of what I post is an idea that get put together and then tested in a bout an hour or at most two hours if I don't watch the time. Quote
John Bigboote Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Could you set a longer render and come back to it on the next shift or day? Quote

NancyGormezano Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Well the dynamic hair went through the floor but otherwise this was okay..would be nice if there was a way to release the hair flowers Nice test - Do you have collision detection on for the hair system? Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 28, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted May 28, 2011 .would be nice if there was a way to release the hair flowers Instead of one emitter for the flower they could be coming from a bundle of small emitters and those could be made to fall and scatter perhaps. EDIT: just watched the clip, you already did that! Quote
johnl3d Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 Yes had collision detection on but I think mesh has to be dense to stop the hair see new post on hair Quote
John Bigboote Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Yeah... delete the default floor and model your own floor plane with a much-much-much denser mesh. Quote
