Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 3, 2011 Hash Fellow Share Posted January 3, 2011 That is odd! It looks like it just tastes it, then gives up.
Walter Baker
I think I saw that in a old Star Trek episode.
NancyGormezano
Yummy. What is making the cloth blob deform before it touches the black spot/thing? It's like an invisible sheild. Is there an invisible deflector or is there a setting for some sort of tolerance? I have noticed when I have tried cloth, that sometimes it appears to float above the deflector (eg the ground). johnl3d
I think its the tolerance have not played much with that was hoping to get a more fluid action just with the movement will have to play with it more also
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 4, 2011 Hash Fellow Share Posted January 4, 2011 I have noticed when I have tried cloth, that sometimes it appears to float above the deflector (eg the ground). That's the "collision tolerance" setting. I believe it's in cm. you can change the default 3 to very low numbers like .
johnl3d
tweaked a little and added hair to the edge also notice in the last one the "cell" was not really being completely blocked by the black object ...fixed that now to make it even more springy microdisc2.mov disc2.zip
