wildcard
When using the rotate tool, it rotates in steps of 5°, is the a key that can override this rotate snap angle? For I'm quite happy with the rotate snap and all, but there are situation I don't want it and I find it a bit to much trouble going in to the settings tab to turn it off. DJBREIT
Strange I thought there was a key for that. But I checked and there is no available over ride key that I can find.

Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 27, 2010 Hash Fellow Share Posted December 27, 2010 I tend to set it to one and leave it at one. No over ride key that i know of, however you can manually type in any new value for rotation in the properties panel, or drag on the value in the properties to alter it in increments of one. HomeSlice
In v15J and above, you can hold down the [Ctrl] key while you click on the Rotate Manipulator and the dialog will pop up allowing you to change the rotate snap angle. It is a little faster than going through Tools > Options.
