John Bigboote
Hey Hashers! I did not know what to get you all for Xmas and you were ALL on my list...so I made a neat little model! This is a graphic firework (see movie for example) that is safe so you won't blow your fingers off. The effect makes use of Hash's boolean feature to reveal and unreveal the burst. You can make your own bursts to change things up... There are 2 poses with the model- 1 reveals the burst and the other UNreveals it... HAVE FUN! Have a VERY Spliney Holidays! I need a fireworks thingie for something I'm doing, and I haven't experimented with booleans yet. Graci Graci, and happy holidays.

heyvern
That's just freaking brilliant. Tweak the timing and brightness of the expansion of the fireworks and the boolean shape and it would look exactly like fireworks. Probably a lot less "expensive" than particles. You could throw in a distortion grid to have the "particles" droop slightly before going out. -vern
