eptigo Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 i exported a wav file from adobe sound booth, and tried to import it into Animation Master, but AM doesnt seem to like my audio file for some reason. what kind of prerequesits must my audio files need in order for AM to accept them? Quote
Luuk Steitner Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 What version are you using? I know one of the previous versions had trouble with stereo wav files. I'm not sure if that was fixed. And you might want to check the compression method. When set to PCM it should work fine. Quote
Dhar Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 I sometimes have this problem when I export a wav file from Audacity. What seems to work is to open that file in Audacity again and re-export it. That seems to do the trick. See if the same works for you. Quote
eptigo Posted October 20, 2007 Author Posted October 20, 2007 i have AM version ... er ... yeti, the yeti version ^^;; Quote
Luuk Steitner Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I believe that's the version that had trouble with stereo files. But did you give it another shot yet? Quote

rusty Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Wav files can have different properties... I also have problems with them playing in some applications (I don't use them in AM) and as I recall the difference was in the wav file being 32 bit instead of 16 bit (though I might be wrong).
