ChuckGram Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Heres a Felix model I'm still working on. The shape of the mouth on this charecter can pose some real challeges when it comes to expressions. Quote
phatso Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 No, no, it's an evil, evil cat! Which is just what Chuck wanted, of course. Chuck, with that cat's big eyes and eyebrows, I bet you can get any expression you need even with the limitations posed by the mouth. If you watch the original Felix cartoons, you'll see that the mouth does very little beyond a very generic smile or frown. It's mostly in the eyebrows. Lemme guess... he likes to bite mice on the neck. Quote
ChuckGram Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 Thanks! Yes, indeed he doese. I can get alot of expressions with the eyebrows but the hardes psert is getting the mouth to move and stay smooth. You'll notice that his head is very sphericle. It's just going to take alot of work I think Quote
Dagooos Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Awesome!!! I think thats the first time I have seen him in 3D. Quote
the_black_mage Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 OMG I LOVE FELIX!!!! child hood fav... Quote
phatso Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Is he gonna do all the cool morphing things Felix used to do, like turning a question mark into a cane etc? Quote
ChuckGram Posted October 20, 2007 Author Posted October 20, 2007 Is he gonna do all the cool morphing things Felix used to do, like turning a question mark into a cane etc? That was the early Felix I think. I kind of liked him better than the later versions because he was more of a trouble maker. The one I modled is the 1950's - 60's version. Have you seen the latest version? His personality is so sickeningly sweet, he makes the Telle-Tubbies look like Hell's Angels. Sad really. Quote
phatso Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Blaaaah! And, in an era when kids are no longer brought up to be little angels. If there ever was a misreading of the signs of the times, that has to be it. Hmm. I wonder if he's still copyrighted? (google google google) Dang. He is. Quote
