sir fen the usa Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 ive added streaks to a model. when i put them into a Choreography they dont move with the model. is there a method to make sure my streak Materials stay with the models when i move them about in the Choreography? im worried that my models with hair will have the same problem.. Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted August 19, 2007 Hash Fellow Posted August 19, 2007 they dont move with the model. You may have to show us a movie of it happening to make it clearer what you mean. Generally, once particles are emitted they are independent of the model, rather like water spurting out of a hose. Once some water has left the hose, moving the hose won't change where that water went. Quote
sir fen the usa Posted August 19, 2007 Author Posted August 19, 2007 does this apply to hair as well? Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted August 19, 2007 Hash Fellow Posted August 19, 2007 does this apply to hair as well? no, hair will stay with the model. If is isn't, something was seriously not done right. post an example if you're having trouble. Quote
sir fen the usa Posted August 19, 2007 Author Posted August 19, 2007 okay i seem to have the streaks working for me i turned off animation mode and when i reposition the model the streaks stick with it. but how do i controls the direction of the streaks they seem to want to emit upwords i would like them to be radom Quote
KenH Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 It may be a redraw issue. Try pressing spacebar when they look strange. Quote
johnl3d Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 Not at home now but I assume the streaks are applied to a group on the model then they will follow it and you can control them by the settings in the emitter section A posting of what you are getting would help Quote
