i recently(yesterday) decided to try some reflective rendering. and man it turned out good!!!

All i did was use an hdri background, wrapped around a sphere via projection master.

then i made a mettaur(from megaman) as the study subject. added my favorite colors and the body colors , then added reflection(diffrent percentages). the next step were lights reflecting the surroundings, one above(blue) and four surrounding(green). the problem is i could not get 'shadow only' to work on the plain i had set on there. so it seems a bit out of place cause of that, so since i figured it would save render time i took it off.

Other settings:

oren nylar-on

Focal-blur

no radiosity or AO used

they also come in various colors!

but seriously this will definitely help my future renders, this also works as an enviromental map as well. i'll post some more of my renders later with other models. if anyone has some hdri images to post I'll gladly use them
