Eric2575 Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I had already done the excercise a while back but did not like the lack of detail in the excercise. As all of you who have done the excercise know, the rotos supplied do not match in their dimensions. Sure they are decent references, but I wanted something a bit more accurate. So here is my attempt at a little more accuracy. Just to clarify, this is a WIP. Quote
Zaryin Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Well, I can't say I hate it . Great job on this so far. Quote
nixie Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Looks great, what plans do you have for it? I start on a Supermarine Spitfire soon, want a dogfight?! In fact, would you be able to post a wire? Might save me a little time. Nixie Quote
Eric2575 Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Hi Chris: I just really wanted to do a little bit better than the tutorial and make a short fly-by movie. Everything major, like all the flaps, rudder, landing gear, etc, are boned. Should be fun to animate. Can't wait to see your Spitfire. You're on for the dogfight Wireframe is nothing to write home about, just sorta threw it together on the fly - geez, I really didn't mean that as a pun Eric Quote

Eric2575 Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Thanks Ethan. Not done quite yet. Seems once I get going on something, I always find a way to add something. Just finished a pose slider for retractable landing wheels including the lil one in the rear. Gonna do the inside of the cockpit also. I think I'm finally getting the hang of modeling Quote
