Frank Silas Posted October 15, 2005 Author Posted October 15, 2005 Don't look at just the 'highest salary'. That could be just one person making that figure. You need to look at the entire chart. You have to take into account cost of living in your area as well as if you are the lead artist at your company in your speciality. Otherwise most people are somewhere in the middle. Of course all the newcomers get in at the low end and hang out there for a few years. The chart is pretty accurate. Apparently as a programmer just starting out i'll be making roughly $12k more a year then i would as an animator. Makes me glad i learned how to program C++ before i discovered A:M Quote
