No no, it's not an official thing, just something I came up with when I helped out with Red Squad and decided to put it in my Hash profile for kicks. I think there's a legit DarkWing Productions or something, but I dunno what they do. I'm quite literally the one man, one computer concept of Hash Inc I am also actually in university at the moment studying Psych

V17 and I are gonna have a date with some star trek models I think when it's released!

This looks incredible! Insanely intrigued as to how this turns out!

Here's a little banner I whipped together in case you're on any forums or anything and want to help support Red Squad by spreading the love!

Thanks a ton!

Speaking of codecs and FC, but does anyone know the proper video format that won't require rendering in FCE? I used to know it, but now can't find the site I found it from :/

I look forward to your results as well, could help expedite experimentation on our part

We've actually been using kinect some fro Red Squad. Currently we've only had an opportunity to briefly play with the motion capture abilities, however, there is definite potential. The problem that needed to be worked out was jittering in the recording phase, however the AM model fit quite well with the BVH that kinect exported. Of course we havn;t done anything like what you suggested above, that's somewhat out of our league

And working on the front some now. This section seems to really help add that 3-dimensionality to the model -

I wasn't happy with the body, so I've started to remodel it and the new mesh for it is significantly cleaner and therefore sleeker. -

Thanks! Glad you're liking it! And this is the last render for today. Probably not gonna get so much done on it after today as I have to start prepping for finals grr -

That's actually where I'm working now. It's going to be a combination of material driven objects and and actually light done all up in an action to be dropped on the model whenever needed. EDIT: Apparently this model is already at the maximum amount of patches that my laptop will handle (about 2600) so time to break it up into separate models! -

And some more! I'm definitely open to C&C on this one as like I said, I've never built a car before! -

Yup, it indeed be KITT! And here's some more to finish off the knight (get it?). One thing though, why is my Shaded-Wireframe render rendering the wireframe of the lights and not only that, like creating a bunch of lines that are just going through stuff? -
So figured I'd add to my plethora of projects, my first attempt at modeling a car! Now I have horrible car sense to begin with and know next to nothing about cars. Despite that however, there is one car in particular that is definitely the coolest car ever. At least in my puny sense of car stuffs. So, I give you the beginnings of my model, the car of the future...can you guess what it is?

So I've done some reworking of the cloth textures for the uniform, making them look more like a fabric than piece of plastic or something

Hit up cafepress Thanks! I love how this has taken precedence over my Stats homework. Obviously I have my priorities wrong...

Thanks! Thanks to you, I pretty much bevel everything now. Adds a whole other level of quality to the models I think Yup And here's some more progress!

So while working on Red Squad and doing university, I decided to pick up another project! This time, modeling the original bridge of the USS Enterprise! I found some amazingly detailed blueprints of not just the floor plan, but everything to console layouts, it's really cool! So here's my start on it!
