that was actually a good idea! to "borrow" parts. ane when it comes to making parts bigger, all you have to do is scale
-
"do not worry humans, we come in... well, UFO's" looking good! I reflection is looking good already, but then again, that's just an opinnion
-
actually looking quite good! (considering your mentioned lazyness ) but is the torso really supose to be that small?
-
Theese are just suggestions, but I think you should do something about the spots I've drawn circels around and maybe you should add another line where I drew one? just to make some of the other splines less twisted EDIT: and if you want an anime eye tutorial, check out the 2nd tutorial I posted or the one xade posted

"ooh, Im mister smarty pants!" nah, jk. sounds fair, since I just decided to redo his hair with wider, shorter hairs. So that makes uuuus... well, pretty much on the same page.
-
wow! that was a really good tutorial
-
legs/torso/everything should be one, that would be best
-
I agree! he's simple, yet so...usefull! just like me
-
now that's a very good question... a question I have a hard time answering without knowing what the charracter is going to look like.
-
I dunno, but it's easy to just detatch it, patch up if any points were erased, rotate it and connect it(just remember to make sure that the lines go left/right and up/down, not left/down, right/down etc etc
-
or a devil in disguise...
-
well first of all you should start by making half+, not only half. let some splines fly over on the other side just to make sure everything will work together with the upcomming copy, if you get anything of what im saying. And when you're ready to copy/flip/attatch, just remove the splines that are yo be replaced with the copied/flipped/attatched copy.
-
the only problem is: how do you make half a torso? but yes, torso would be the logical next step. btw, I like his feet, if Im not all wrong, I think your model will turn out pretty darn good. ("you can say a lot about a model, looking at it's feet" Chineese proverb(yeah right, as if the Chineese know anything about modeling ))
-
the cheek/mouth area looks a bit odd... looks like is cheek is too broad or something. and his mid nose and, well, face line looks like it's standing a bit alone, if you get what I mean. It's way in front of the others. Other than that it's very good WARNING: Im VERY tired, so if you find my critiqe a bit odd, it's because I can't see straight
-
are you following a tutorial? if not, this one might help you out: http://www.shimmyo.com/face_tute.php it's a bit old and it may not be too good for drawn charracters, if you think it's crap, you could try this one: http://demented3d.com/tutorial/ . of course, theese are all personaly chosen, so no guarante they'll be any good EDIT: you should really check out how the eye in the first tutorial is made, the way he's doing it is pretty darn smart
-
wouldn't it be smartest to just begin with the head and work your way down? that might just be my opinnion, but if you're going to do it from below, you should do torso now, I think. Im not sure, tho
-
this way of hairmaking is pretty tough and not so good for my charracter... I doubt the result will be any good. So what I would like, if anyone was to be so nice as to give me it, is an explenation on how to make alpha channels. A link to a tutorial, short explenation, just post what you think might help me My humble thnx, J

looking good dude! *secret encrypted norwegian message* liker fuglen, får vi se han i full film snart?
-
WOW! That's a mighty fine horse you got there! how much horsepower?
-
Looking good! *NEVERMIND WHAT WAS HERE BEFORE! I need to clean my eyes* other than that: I envy you... I want your skills... maybe if I could only borrow your brain for a sec?
-
it helped me quite a bit... I'll save this for when Im rigging my charracter, so thnx
-
pretty nice, exept for the fact that the camera is a bit... not in place. other than that I was really suprised when I saw the animations, I thought the two fellas to the left would just raise their hands or something, but instead they interacted with the 3rd person. I liked it!
-
HAHA! that could've been my dad. seriously, that's a great charracter! I like him
-
that's exactly what Im talking about, atleast it's better than nothing
-
aaaah, that makes more sense
