  1. That really @$#%$s me off! To think that doing that would make it look better then real braids! Man That annoys the $*(#$ out of me!
  2. Ok. I copied and attatched. So now I am working on hair. I've started with the braid but I don't know where to go with the hair from here. Please give your comments. The bottom thing is an anime jack of the spiked end of the braid.
  3. Supprisingly I've got exactly where I was before it happened..- well not exactly. but I'm at that point. Now for the dreaded Copy/Flip/attatch... not working properly--need help NOW.
  4. This will probably make creases and jack things up big time but break or detatch the top or left spline segmant. Keep detatching until you can break and start re-modeling it. stop before you get to the unrendered patch. Now with a hanging cp, make a four point spline (somewhere). attatch one of the middle points to the hanging cp. attatch the other to the side of the nostril or how the point was attatched before. Now delete the other two end points. Sorry but the picture is a little messy (more like completely blurry ) . Hope this helps.
  5. This is just not right! I was modeling and then... EVERYTHING WAS GONE! I have to start from here! I could sware I saved after this. So much time- WASTED! I want to bash the moniter straight into the wall! Anything I could bring it back by?- or is that impossible? It crashed suddenly and there is nothing I can do. So I'll probably be RE-posting my progress. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Tried to reshape the back of the head and the junction of the face. But The eye looks HYPNOTIC so I want to know how to make an anime eye. Also I thought about his limbs. Any ideas on how to make his automail (mechanical) limbs?
  7. I know all these critiques are truthful. I am trying to correct these errors but... well... uh... to tell the truth I am not a very good modeler. I remember it airing sometime in I think december. not that I really know. The back is very square. can you help me in correcting it.
  8. Yes, here's the wireframe. (glad someone cares) As you can see I've been modeling. I've modeled more but the other cps would confuse the linkage (don't ask me what that means). Thanks Mr. Jaqe. Yes I'm using the cooper tutorial. Although with hand drawn characters it may not work as well.
  9. I've worked a little but I don't know how I'm doing. Now I know this won't look near as good as Mr.Jaqe's Vegeta model but I'm doing my best. Please tell me the honest truth. Also I've noticed the ear in the pics is not very well drawn.
  10. Ah thank you. Beggining to think no one would respond. I'll use the cooper tutorial but this would be my first, in a way to speak, copy character. The last one was just based on my own badly done drawing.
  11. I want to model Edward elrich (anyone know who that is?) 's head but I need to good shots : the side and front of the head. Also how would I create locks of hair like braids. Here for people who don't know. His profile is under characters, elric family, then edward. For those who don't know you probably won't be able to find a good pic.
  12. Don't start doing more than you should. It looks to me like his mouth and chin is starting to cross to the left side. Although it NEVER works proplerly you can always use copy flip attatch or copy the right side, flip it, and then stitch it to the right.
  13. Oops! Sorry 'bout that. I've embedded all the files now. The models should load up fine now. WaterPrj.prj
  14. Can you tell me where I can find the maya plugin and how much it costs. I heard about that earlier but I couldn't find it.
  15. Wow . Not wow at his reply but at your model. Now I shouldn't be one to criticize but I think he stopped typing because there was to much to say about your model. Like he said I would get a rotoscope and try to tweak to those proportions. But the smoothness of the model is nice... by this I mean no creases and good four point cross sections at control points. His chin loods like a goute though. His face looks like he has down syndrom or (and) some other horrible disease. Try to soften up around the mouth chin and nose area. The modeling style itself is good though. So I'm sure those changes will come easy.
  16. Hey I saw that awhile back. Looks nice. But could anyone render the choreography from my project. It would close on me on frame 2. I want to know what's wrong. When you said that seems much better were you talking about my prj? Does that mean it rendered fine on your computer?
  17. I'm trying to build up from the root. You know, trying to add as I go. But something horrible happened ... It won't render!!!! Sometimes, it comes up with the message circularity found... But other times it won't... either way it still closes on frame 2!! Could anybody tell me whats wrong!? Please tell me if you have the same problem on your computer. I don't want to remake this!! I've included a copy of the project: WaterPrj.prj
  18. No, not exactly. But if you change the type to percentage this will allow you to set a new default. Open pose sliders and right click on the pose you want to set on to. Move your cursor down to "settings" and open it. Default will be at the top of the window. I don't know how to set default in on off type though. But I'm sure there is a way.
  19. Thanks for the physics lesson Jamagica. But no seriously. Could you get me a description of how the after droplet(s) should look? How many? Where should they land? If I could see a slow motion of a drop of water coming down then splashing I could enhance this animation.
  20. John... you were right as usual. For some reason, the drop was way behind the camera even though I was in camera view when I dropped it in. Thanks john. And now for anybody that cares, the fluid motion of a drop. WaterDroplet.mov
  21. I agree with jamagica... something is horribly wrong with the rigging. null for the right hand won't work with it... I'll stop there. You should be able to figure out the rest... Other than that It's a good model. I like the way the foot is so flexible.
  22. No, because I put another drop in and it looked fine. Same exact model, same exact transperancy.
  23. Now from the camera view= CameraViewAnimation.mov
  24. I tried to render this but the drop doesn't show up. It shows the drop on front view but not in camera view or render view. I put another drop in, and it showed up from camera and render view. Here are the two movies. First, an animation from the front view= RealTimeWaterDrop.mov
  25. I have only one picture of this person, but I want to know how to go about - just as a start - how to model his head. The picture is from the front view.
