I try to upload the action file, but it tells me I am not permitted to upload this type of file.
Please do me a favor and try that again.
We should be able to upload .act files.
Done! Don't know why it didn't work last time.
Very basic walk, I had never tried a four legged character before.

Did a walk cycle with the cartoon horse, so it could maybe useful to you;
Here's the horse with some IK constraints Cartoon_Horse.mdl

Ingenious! The wireframe movie is very fun and interesting to watch. Nice mechanical rigging!

Your work is awesome!

That's great! I don't have any crits either, but I can tell you the way the guy with the shirt
falls, turns around while getting up at the end, works very very good!

I like the cartoon horse from the CD, so I had to try that.
Sorry, I can't find the way to delete older files in the Edit post.
Watch the last clip.

The way I've always used it ...
drag the back stride length box to the heel of the back foot and drag the front stride length box to the heel of the front foot.
then step through the cycle frame by frame and adjust the number for the "Stride Length" property until the feet follow a line in the grid fairly closely.
Walk cycles take practice ...
I don't step through the cycle frame by frame, I make sure the Z curve for the foot on the ground, is a straight line,
this way feet don't slide.

Would it be a TV animator Fox News?
Cloth test works pretty good.

Thank you Nancy!
Glad you liked it, I will refine it in coming days.
I can move things around pretty quickly with that format.

I posted something before with that idea. Animated with A:M, assembled in AE.
Animation is rough and blocky, just playing around, planning a scenario.
File size is pretty big, but I need a large image for this one.

I see what you mean. Right now it's too much like a ring around the eye, and I can't really just modify
the decal cause the mesh is very pronounced around the eyes. This guy is fully rigged now, so I don't want
to alter it too much: but that's something I'll have in mind for the next models. Thank you!

OOps!
I told you already in a previous post, Ramses is great!
And I might use the horse too.

Looks like you're having fun, and us too.
Love your horse!

First face test. I use this month's 11sec audio clip to test the face rig, not entering the competition,
I don't feel like hearing the same clip 6000 times this month . It's Mark's face rig, works very nice!
You can see the setup in the wireframe clip, light with a wide range of controls.
I'm not too good at face animation, trying to learn.

I think that people that know like us that it is an eating plant story don't get distracted,
but people watching it for the first time will think it's the the butterfly talking, for a few
seconds before they realize what's happening.

Did some work on Ben the bigger guy walk cycle.
Still needs some refining.
I will now try some facial animation with Mark's face rig.

Very good portrait!
Did you start from scratch with a drawing, Robert's perhaps, or yours,
or do you modify, sculpt an existing mesh?
Nice modeling!
