  2. Update.... I found out how to access the hiding CP keyframes. You'll have to watch the video to see it, but here is a model that seems to behave appropriately... Blue Big mama Fox_FIXEDB.mdl
  3. We looked at this at LAT today. Ouch! It's a very deeply buried problem. We were even searching for CP#'s in a text editor. Short version... it's the "Left Thigh" and "Right Thigh" SmartSkins. They have some CPs keyframed in them that are causing the face motion but i didn't entirely succeed in finding/deleting the unnecessary keyframes. They are hiding somewhere! ModelFaceFix007 left and rigth thigh SS deleted.prj Anyone else have ideas?
  4. HEY HEY HEY!!! I’m currently working on a character model in Hash and have encountered a strange issue. When I move the character’s torso, her face also moves along with it—specifically the cheeks and nose area. I’ve double-checked the bone structure and placement: • All bones appear to be in the correct locations. • The facial bones (cheekbone, nose, etc.) are not parented or connected to the torso bone in any way. • I’ve also verified that no constraints or smart skin settings are visibly linking the two. Despite this, the face still shifts when the torso is moved, which I didn’t expect. I’m wondering if this could be a glitch, a weighting issue, or something else entirely. Could someone please walk me through what might be causing this? Or let me know what steps I can take to fix it? Thanks PIZZA Time! (Ignore the textures) face dance.avi Blue Big mama Fox.mdl

  8. I haven't gone to Windows 11 yet so i can't speak on that but i haven't heard of anyone else on Win 11 being dramatically hindered. There will be a slight rendering slowdown in v19.5 overall. Steffen says that a library that was used in v19.0 is no longer supported by the compiler. For 3D Painter contact I've sent you Filip's email. He says he bought lifetime hosting for his website but apparently they meant someone else's lifetime!
  9. Hey Rob, interface / real-time & general usage, when I was installing it on initial launch it took a while, registering plugins ?? then was quite sluggish and became more sluggish, I was monitoring system temps cpu / ram etc. etc. and the computer was not throttling down, even with real-time subdivision bumped all the way down it was still sluggish, mysteriously today it seems to be working quick again . . . 🫤 . . . think somethings dying on this old computer . . . time for a upgrade
  10. Slower in what regard? Rendering? Real-time playback? The interface?
  11. Ray Dream Designer / Studio 😂 . . I remember that ! Infini-D too

  13. Hi all, soooo, just upgraded to Win11 from Win 10 ( had a crash and decided to upgrade ) and have installed AM 19 / 19.5 ect. have noticed some slowdown over from Win 10, has anyone encountered this who's on Win 11, granted my rig is still an old mac pro / DP Xeon 3.4g / 128 Ram /Radeon RX 580, but AM was much faster with windows 10, looking to upgrade the rig soon to a Minisforum MS 1 or Dell precision compact 3240/60 just for AM, with possibly an RTX A2000 / 4000 GPU, am working with Perry Animations on a few things for his feature moofee and the small pc's would be great for potability for onsite work. On GPU front does anyone know if AM loads most of the workload / models in GPU Memory or still in RAM ? Because if its primarily working from GPU memory then I would like to get a GPU with as much memory as I can. Is 3D painter still available ? I have been looking for this and the website is no longer active, can someone point us to where I can buy a licence and download the program. Latest build, accordion with working keys / bellow is really taxing the system ! - used robcats spring tute to get this working, works like a charm ! Thanks robcat
  14. Thanks Robert! Guess we all have our strengths, I've never been good at making tutorials or explaining things for fear of going off on a tangent, playing with features for hours before getting back to what I was trying to explain.
  15. More great-looking stuff, Michael! I especially like that fibre-optic fountain thing. I wish i knew as much about lighting today as you already knew in 1999!
  16. The one-legged jump! A new render of my animation for the fifth assignment at AnimationMentor, 20 years ago this week. The assignment was to do one long jump and at least two short ones. Now with sound effects i made myself! (animated in Animation:Master, of course)

  18. Also some old animations created while at Streamline Media. A website header and an animation for a touch screen console. converted to animated gifs so has a bit of dithering.
  19. Thanks Roger, Yeah maybe Radiosity is overrated, we were able to render some decent things without it back in the day.
  20. Wow...the nasal spray, phonebook and collection of bills look very photorealistic. If I didn't know I was looking at a CGI rendering, I might have a very had time catching that they are CG.
  21. Some more A:M product renders and graphics created while I worked at Streamline Media.
  22. It's all 'math' to me... My question as it relates to 3D modeling is: How does this contribute to continuity of adacent (relatively) planar surfaces? There is another element of this video suggests 0-0=0. But is this more 'pulling rabbit from hat'* in considering that an x - y = z where none of the variables are (invariably) equal? How equal are they and when are they equal? *To use a phrase from the video. This underlying schemes concerns polygons. Useful for math but historically an obstacle for splines and patches. Terms to consider regarding continuity: Triagons, non intersecting diagonals Potentially useful: The Hexagon is a useful construct in that it can be divided into quadrilaterals. Going deeper down the rabbit hole: In the second video we are introduced to the idea of a null subdigon which is the equivalent of a two point line. This is also referred to as the 'roof' of the shape under consideration.
  23. Here is a swift turn-around with a frame-by-frame slo-mo from "Mouse and Garden" (1959). I have watched this endlessly, trying to figure out what was going on.
  24. found this excellant model and did a quick animation checkmate.prj
  25. HEY HEY HEY ! These models are epic can I borrow Zack and Terry and also the three thief model if possible? Rigged or not is perfectly fine. Also are you going to finish the IGRIM series? -Pizza Time!
  26. really enjoy some older ,odels

  28. A concern about a "TV" is if it uses a technology like plasma or OLED that is prone to "burn in". Those are bad to have a program interface sitting on for hours. Conventional LED should be less of a problem.
