I thought I'd say it now. I'm starting to build a Dodge Viper, but I'm in the very early stages. I've taken a screenshot of my progress so far. Feel free to critique on what I have so far. Thank you. :)

I dont know exactly, but you have to prepare the spline for extruding it...

So you need (in my opinion) several separate parts... for example the windows should be each one part... so it is possible to turn them down later, etc.

You can do it now or later... but I would start as early as possible with it...

There seems to be alot of cps and I'm not sure doing a profile is the right way to go about it. Xtaz might offer you some advice. But good luck...you'll be learning too! :)

Rock on dude.

 

I find mechanical objects to be easier to model than creatures.

 

I've done a few vehicles.

 

If you find some good images, you can do a LOT with the decals that can make up for modeling limitations, might be a good first try.

 

You can even get away with with a fairly limited model.
