Tom Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Hello Hashers- I was playing with the latest version of AM 19.5 E and I loaded a simple 10 frame avi into an action window to test whether or not I could advance the video one frame at a time...and it didn't work at all. I tried the same procedure in v19.0 and it worked fine. Has anyone else had trouble loading an avi video into v19.5E and been thwarted? Attached is a bare Project file and the simple 10 frame video I was trying to use. Thanks for any insights! Tom MovieTest.avi RotoTest.prj Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted April 26 Hash Fellow Posted April 26 Hi Tom, That does appear to be a bug in 19.5. An image sequence doesn't work either. I tested previous versions and the problem seems to arrive in an alpha I got 13 Feb 2022, before the first v19.5 was publicly released. The last version to work properly was an alpha i got on 9 Jan 2022. Thank you for finding that. I'll make a bug report. Quote
Tom Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Rob- Thanks for making a bug report!! Onwards with the best 3D software package out there in terms of bang for the buck! Tom Quote
Admin Rodney Posted April 27 Admin Posted April 27 As a workaround until that gets fixed you might try applying the video/reference to a single patch (as a patch image). Decals also work when timing is animated so that is another option. Layers... do NOT appear to work so they are likely effected by the same bug as Rotoscopes. Quote
