Squiggly Curves are back (again)[solved?]

This time there are NO poses involved. Attached is the model but it doesn't happen all the time just randomly. Last time the problem was having a pose window open but now it happens with no poses, and it shows up in the render.

Please don't send this model anywhere as it's taken a lot of hours to build. Let me know if this happens for you or not. I'm using v19.op

[I've temporarily removed the model so it doesn't get sent around - Robert]

Hello-

I just rendered the model in v19.0 and it rendered fine as both a line drawing and a regular solid. Don't know if that helps but Rob might have more insights...

Edward, send me a PRJ with the chor you are trying to render, the one that causes the squigglies, with the model embedded.

Don't post it here. Send it to me in a PM.

It's happening in the modelling mode and in my chor. but when I saved the model out and imported it into a new prj. the problem vanishes. Yet in the chor. in my main project the problem keeps happening. (See attached) It's hard to see in the picture but it's there. So I'll send you the new test prj. with only the model in it in a PM.

Thanks

This is a screen capture from the Chor. The parts you reference look straight.

It's hard to diagnose this if I can't reproduce it.

I notice that the Pose "AngleFrame" has something to do with those parts of the model. You'd never want that at 100%  by default so set it to "not Set" in the Model

-Likewise for "WingMaps"

Things that probably are not the problem but you should do anyway...

-Delete all the unused pose sliders in User Properties. RMB>Delete

-The PRJ you sent me is still looking to load several mats from the HD. I doubt that is causing the lines to curve, but for future reference, to Embed All in a PRJ, do Project>Embed All

Of course, you never save over old versions of your work, you save with an incremented version number.

You continue to be my savior Robcat!! I had made those poses to help with decaling, especially the AngleFrame pose. It was hard to map one side at a time so I stood all those
angled struts up vertically in a pose and did a cylindrical projection. But I was under the mistaken notion that you had to keep those pose sliders at 100% to maintain the
texture position. And wouldn't ya know it-it was those frame struts that were at odd angles (30-45deg.) that were causing the problem but they were ok just by turning
the pose sliders back to zero.
I made those "mapping" poses long ago and haven't even given any thought to poses at all until you mentioned it. But when I looked there were 7 or 8 poses that I didn't create at all! Don't you have to make a pose? Can you create them by accident? And they certainly don't make themselves (or DO THEY?!!)
Anyway thanks again.
