Darrin S Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Here are some models that could be used if anyone wants them. Of course, if you know how to use them already, I don't care. I think I'll repeat myself if I type anymore explanation. Let me know if you want to see anything else. I do have a couple blown hard drives or maybe like 5 that need restored to get files, and I have some on flash drives but I will dig through that when I get a chance. Right now I just want to find a safe way to put things on the website that you may or may not want to originate from here. And then I'll say here's how to hack the site (password) and just put the Android related stuff there, originally just to have an Android project to play with without needing to program, yet... Thank you A:M! Export to AM-1.zip Edit to change the idea of posting on "flownuts.com" Wordpress doesn't want the liability of distributing .apk's so they suggest a 3rd Party site. Quote
ChuckGram Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Hey there. Sorry for the late reply, but I only just found this post. I love the props! You can never have enough buildings and such for animations. Thanks a ton! Quote
Darrin S Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 Hi ChuckGram! Actually you're the only reply, so I appreciate that! In the misc folder there is a model called parts (and one called parts2). Those contain a lot of "primitive" shapes with curvature and a place I like to start. They help keep building looking smooth and curved. When reflection/specularity is applied it looks oily and I like the look a lot better. Plus curved corners and such have a more cartoon like appearance while still being precise. Thank you for your feedback. I look forward to being here more. I attached an image with my concept with buildings that's just started today. The mass transit (Hyperloop Intersection model) system is to drop off/pick up at upper levels of the buildings. A fox may hang out at lower level. 1 1 Quote

Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 10 Hash Fellow Posted July 10 That's a lot of crazy models! Thank you for the stash! Quote
Ganthofer Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Well put Robert, Thanks for the stash! I'll have to root around on my old systems (drives and PC's still in boxes) and see if I can find the Windows AutoHotKey script for updating the library file in AM. Quote
Darrin S Posted July 19 Author Posted July 19 Thank you for the banner! I feel famous. Sorry those models were not organized better. I threw them together in the middle of what we now call a "manic" episode. I'm working on a "light show" with flowing rings or "flownuts" 2 Quote
Darrin S Posted July 19 Author Posted July 19 I'm also updating this model to be simpler to animate. In reality, she's about 20 years old. I always pictured fantastic (superhuman even) dance moves but never did much. Of course, the light show would go with the dancing, then music. Vera.mdl Here she has a better dance and with a lightshow... The goal is to have some shuffle dances like I see on YouTube. Those are very entertaining, so I thought an animated version would be just as fun to watch. Imagine what a "green screen" could add to the mix. Shuffle dancers in front of animated backgrounds, maybe dancing with animated characters. I wonder if any shuffle dancers have tried motion capture yet. 1 Quote
Darrin S Posted July 26 Author Posted July 26 Still practicing. This is 8 fps, and I think it looks good enough for a game sprite or something. Quote
