Dalemation Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 A couple of images of the Haunted House set I`ve been working on. It`s almost completed now - just a few things to finish off and tidy up. Quote
Dalemation Posted April 12, 2004 Author Posted April 12, 2004 And another..... All textures are procedurals from Enhance AM Textures btw... Quote
Ross Smith Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 Really nice! The little designs that frame the windows are great. Nice lighting, too. You have the creepy green fog thing down pat. Quote
NancyGormezano Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 good, fun stuff - excellent mood - draws me in and makes me want to know more about what happens next... Quote
VeridisQuo567 Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 Nice modeling, the shape gives it a "Cartoonish Haunted House" Feel, i like it! Quote
TheOddfellow Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 Very nice "spooky" ambiance... this has a lot of potential. Cant wait to see how this image/project progresses, especially with a dark creepy night sky behind (?) Quote
Dalemation Posted April 12, 2004 Author Posted April 12, 2004 Thanks for the comments everyone. TheOdfellow - The sky will be composited later as I want to have clouds drifting on seperate layers. VeridisQuo567 - Thanks, I wanted it to be more cartoony than `real` looking (I hate straight lines ) and the project is for kids so, Hammer Film fan that I am, I have to restrain myself! The entire model is quite large as the house stand atop a hill with a path winding round which leads to the spooky forest I`ve posted previously. Thanks again for taking time to reply, Dale. Quote
Zaryin Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 I love the look of this house. The colors, mats, and modeling. Nice. Quote
nigeltheimpaler Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 Looks a bit like the Munsters place after a few beers! Good stuff, though don't be scared of straight lines. They could be used effectively in a "low poly curve" kind of way. Perhaps on the roof as a contrast to the rest of the building and to make that spire more pointy... Quote
