patch + decal duplication

Hello, I am continuing my face creation tutorials and I have a group duplication problem with its decals.

At 10:00 we duplicate the eye patch to create the second one and the decals are duplicated with it.

When I do this, the decals don't duplicate !?

What am I forgetting ??

That should work yes... I just tried it with one patch too and that did not work.
If you put more than one patch under the decal it seems to work.

I'll set up a bug report for that.

I gave it a try with one patch in 32 and 64 bit versions of v19o and it worked appropriately.

It's pretty interesting...
Here are two screen captures... first one (even with a crash), second one it works.
It does not make a difference if there are more than one patch as it seems. I am not sure what is happening here.

I'm not sure what you did differently between those.

I've tried it several times and it always worked.

i finally captured a reproducible case with my beta of v19p and have sent that off as a bug report.

Cool Robert. I have found one too and just told Steffen about it in the bug report you've put in.
That might help to find the problem even better :).
