ChrisThom Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 OK I know that this has been done, oh, about a billion and a half times but it's still a good way to experiment with timing and gravity. Clicker It's still got some tweeking to do but not a bad start. Thoughts? Quote
Grubber Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Is it simulated? I tried to do this using rigid body with no succses. I woul like to know how You did this. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted April 4, 2004 Admin Posted April 4, 2004 That would make a great Arctic Pigs 'real time' animation! Quote
CreativeAustinYankee Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Although it is mechanical, it doesn't have to look mechanical, I suggest a little ease in-ease out applied to the end balls. I'm going to have to try this myself sometime. Quote

This is all keyframed, but I suppose you could do this using rigid bodies too. It probably would have saved me some time. Maybe that will be my next experiment. Although it is mechanical, it doesn't have to look mechanical, I suggest a little ease in-ease out applied to the end balls. Thanx, I agree that I need to play with the easing at the pinacle a bit more. One thing that I added to give it a little more "real" feeling was that if you look at the middle balls there's a little sway to them when they are struck. Thanx for everyones input. I'll post more as I update it. Quote
