Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 17, 2019 Hash Fellow Posted May 17, 2019 I bet you could make a character dance with that. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted May 22, 2019 Admin Posted May 22, 2019 John, Audio with a good beat should accentuate the amplitude. Then it might mostly be a matter of finding the sweet spot in a rig to translate, rotate or scale. Bum. Bum BUMP Bum Bum. Bum BUMP Bum Keep going! Added a random beat created online via https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Song-Maker/song/6529628858482688 The basic idea being to use the beat to drive the animation but then go back in and layer in additional music/instruments on top to add flavor to the performance. The additional music not driving any motion... more to drive the viewers e-motion. Generated Wav file is attached. (Midi file can also be generated) 6529628858482688.wav Quote
Admin Rodney Posted May 22, 2019 Admin Posted May 22, 2019 Here's Shaggy pretending he's got musical talent. I started off just wanting to have the Amplitude wizard make his foot tap to a beat and then started adding that same beat in to other bones. All movement is based on the WAV file I posted above with a few manual tweaks of channels afterward. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted May 22, 2019 Admin Posted May 22, 2019 Added eye and mouth movement... had to exaggerate the curves after applying Amplitude but it provided a good starting target... Quote
johnl3d Posted May 26, 2019 Author Posted May 26, 2019 Nice work Rodney will have to play with my idea some more....have some other ideas using color lights Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 26, 2019 Hash Fellow Posted May 26, 2019 I'll note that you can in the PWS on the channel for the Pose slide and use Reduce to smooth out the data from the Amplitude plugin. Larger numbers (try 30 and larger) will make more smoothing Quote
johnl3d Posted May 27, 2019 Author Posted May 27, 2019 Will have to play some more thanks for the suggestions Quote
