largento
We were discussing bullet physics in the Hangout today and I thought I'd see how it works on the Mac. Seems to be a problem with it. The properties box has a number of string errors and just trying to run the simulation with the default settings crashes the application every time. Here's what the properties box looks like: To be honest, I'm not sure this a feature I would ever make use of, but I'll do up a bug report when I get some free time. Admin Rodney Posted March 24, 2018 Admin Share Posted March 24, 2018 I'm not sure this a feature I would ever make use I thought the same until I experimented with the destructive powers of shattering objects with Bullet Physics. That alone might be useful in making props, effects and such. When shattering an object it primarily follows the groups assigned to the object so that could yield some artistically driven breakages. (That breakage is used in conjunction with the Explode_Rebuild Wizard)

Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted March 24, 2018 Hash Fellow Share Posted March 24, 2018 Mark, here's a sample PRJ that works in my Windows V19. in the Chor and do Simulate Bullet. If it crashes, this would be a case you could send knowing that it does work in Windows but not on Mac. Bullet_Die_Test.prj
