Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 15, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted July 15, 2014 Over on 11secondclub a guy was trying to do his first bouncing ball and not getting it so i gave him a link to one of my explanations about how you have to edit the curves to be like parabolas. He watched the video with an example that looks like this... ...and some how he came up with this... How does that happen? How does someone look at those two and see them as the same? Quote
Admin Rodney Posted July 15, 2014 Admin Posted July 15, 2014 I'm going to guess that is just an example of not being familiar with the tools at his/our disposal. It's one thing to see something demonstrated and another to find the appropriate place to implement the same or similar thing in the software. And besides... those lines are both green... so they are mostly the same. Quote

markw Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 He keeps the same dodgy curves on each bounce. So if nothing else he is at least consistent in his animating. That's something I suppose... Quote
John Bigboote Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I was just watching a lesson on this using modo, and in their curves editor there are 'tricks' to copy/paste keyframes or move them around... in A:M there are no tricks, just move them around... copy paste? Highlite em and CntrlC cntrlV... A:M's channel editor is world-class easy! Quote
