Unfortunately you can not just lay the 2 pieces next to the hinge because the maker bot rep 2 will not print them correctly. Admin Rodney Posted May 24, 2013 Admin Share Posted May 24, 2013 The primary problem I see is that the center object has parts that are only one patch thick. The secondary problem is that parts of the object aren't closed. It's easy enough to close the ends but we'd need to know what your target is in order to finish the piece. Replaced my model with a project file that has a new model in it. I've added Robert's model (locked) beside mine as a general reference. It appears we were following the same approach.
