MMZ_TimeLord Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I'd be happy to take this on... If you need an example of my mechanical modeling work, here you go. For accuracy this was modeled in a metric scale of 10:1 (cm model = mm real object) Cheers! Quote

He has bowed out but not because of pay, or complexity of the project. He just felt he would be to slow at it. im offering the project to rober next and hopefully he can help me after seeing my request. If by chance he bows out its all yours. My fear though is that at that point the momentum of the buck being passed may have to much inertia to contain. I'd be happy to take this on... jason1025 Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 my grandest adventure in beveling: This is exactly the quality of modeling i am looking for. Very clean no sharp edges that are not feasible in the real world. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 17, 2013 Hash Fellow Posted January 17, 2013 Well, it sounds scary now. I'll have to see what this contraption you need modeled is. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted January 18, 2013 Hash Fellow Posted January 18, 2013 It WAS kind of scary. It took a couple hours, but I cleverly talked Jason out of immediately needing a model by me. What was the patch count for that little beauty Rob? There are 9595 patches, however, 3768 of those were in the knurled knobs. Quote
thejobe Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 if you are still looking for help i might be able to help in a week or so. Quote
