I think having some variable speed (ease in/ease out?) going into the corners would be nice as that would not only give a sense of acceleration but also allow the viewer to see more of the tunnel they are in. As a suggestion perhaps you could stretch out the over all length (doubling the duration) but then accelerating through the straightaways. Nice work John!
