Over at http://www.worldslongestinvoice.com/ you can post any amounts you've been screwed out of by your client(s) and see your outstandings aggregated with those of other freelancers. Currently over $14,800,000 is owed to something like 2,500 freelance artists and other creatives. It's apparently also been getting some coverage in the media.

Bravo to the folks who are naming names, but I can't see where this will do any good (except maybe give a client the idea that they *can* get away without paying.)

Are they naming names or are the names the people who are owed money? I wasn't sure.

A few of them are naming the names of their deadbeat clients (one guy even included an email address).

It says they're going to "deliver it to lawmakers" on May 22 but it's not clear what they mean or what that will accomplish. However, in theory, at least, I support what the Freelancers Union is trying to achieve.
