Admin Rodney Posted October 6, 2011 Admin Posted October 6, 2011 Please clue us in to how you perform that magic. (Sorry, I don't think I know the musician) Quote
John Bigboote Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 That's very cool... that may be a record for the longest movie post ever from JohnL3D! SO- to make that happen you are using a 3rd party plug-in called Amplitude made by Gary Newby? Quote
johnl3d Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 The amplitude was a small stand alone program that makea an action file to control a percentage pose based on the volume of a sound file. Gary Newby sold it but then disappeared. I can convert a sound if some one wants me to just email me at the email behind my avatar Quote
Admin Rodney Posted October 6, 2011 Admin Posted October 6, 2011 I think Gary Newby was the same guy that ran Amxchange.com back in the day. He also recreated the utility LibMaker (the first utility that created A:M Libraries by searching harddrives... not the later one by Rusty Williamson and Glen Anthofer) I exchanged an email with him back in 2005 wherein he stated: re: LibMaker, i'm putting a new site together, soley for the software i've developed and i plan to included the AM utilities i wrote. The rest of the email relates to my interest in the AMxchange URL. I have an email address for him if anyone is interested in contacting him. Since I don't know if he wants it published, please email me at: rodney.baker@gmail.com I've already launched an email toward Gary. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted October 6, 2011 Admin Posted October 6, 2011 Here is evidence of Gary mixing it up with some guy named JohnL... who was already a Tinkering Gnome way back when. Quote
johnl3d Posted October 7, 2011 Author Posted October 7, 2011 Tweaked the pose a little creep_color.mov creepyish__.zip project file , wav file , action to control pose size of model creep Rodney let us know if you get answer to your email Quote
John Bigboote Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 It just seems like this would be be a fine automatic 'jaw-dropper' for lip-synching... of course further embellishments would be necessary to further the realism, but it may be a good start. John I will email you some dialogue for testing purposes...? Quote
johnl3d Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 crep_colorh.mov head test with same sound every 3rd frame Sorry 10hr days are destroying my mind Quote
