Usually I believe you have to increase its life or something like that, as Streaks don't have gravity per se, least not that I've ever been able to find

 

EDIT: Initial velocity

 

initial velocity will works if life expectancy is short .. try set it to 100.. the gravity is still there

There are two gravities... "force"

 

the one in the Chor props can affect anything including particles.

 

the one in the particle system is added to the one in the Chor. If it's 0 then you still have -100 default in the chor. If the particle has +100 that will ballance out the defautl chor force.

 

Or, you could set the chor force to 0 if you don't need it for anything else.
