Zaryin
What is the proper way to calibrate a monitor to get the correct color and gamma settings. The one in Windows isn't helping me, I just don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing. Any help would be appreciated.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted September 13, 2011 Hash Fellow Share Posted September 13, 2011 That has mystified me also. When I've used "calibration" procedures that other people recommended I've ended up with an environment that caused me to make images that were impossibly dark on everyone else's monitors. For now I'd say hit the "restore to defaults" button on your monitor and then you'll at least be seeing about what everyone else is seeing. itsjustme
I've been using the Huey Pro to calibrate my monitor. I like it a lot.
Zaryin
Thanks alot for the info. I will try the default thing first, haha. I already spent a bunch on this new pc, and then I will be buying the new v16 soon. Do my images seem too dark or too bright or to off color ( not in the joke way, haha)
