Master chief Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 OK i have been using materials for some time know and have some pretty cool effects , one part that still eludes me is to make the materials have shapes , such as hexagons , i know this can be done as iv seen models with this type in the archives but i cant find out how to do it my self and i don't know and key words for the search that would match Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

johnl3d Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 what I did was take the image you posted and tried to quickly crop it to be a repeatable tile then first added it to a group as a group image file The using the same group applied the image using the matterial bitmapplus included in the distribution bitmapplus.prj right click save as this is not zipped These methods need some tweaking but putting out and idea for you to try Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
