Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 15, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted December 15, 2008 you mean 3 splines? Show us a wireframe of the problem spot. You'll get a more useful answer if we see it. Quote
Master chief Posted December 15, 2008 Author Posted December 15, 2008 ok heres the pic right in the center there is a line "white" thats coming up but in needs to splint into 2 "grey" Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 16, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted December 16, 2008 I have no idea what I'm looking at, but if that is one layer of patches there are several spline problems there. In the tut link in my sig there's a vidoe on avoiding dead end splines. That might be useful. But I'm still not sure what part of your pic you're referring to. Quote
Master chief Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 allright i think im just going to compleatly redo that area as i have confuzzeled the greate robcat2075 a question i would like to know is what would be the best way to put a fin like object into a otherwish flat object Quote
Gerry Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 the quick and dirty way would be to just model the fin and stick it there. The mesh doesn't need to be continuous. It's nicer when it is, but not required. Quote
John Bigboote Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Spaghetti. I will usually peak (P) the CP... and then you can adjust the bias all 3 ways until smoothness. Quote
